Dr. Robert Goodman has been a distinguished, practicing Vascular surgeon for over 25 years. His focus has been exclusively on vein and artery disease.
He is the first vascular surgeon in western Massachusetts to offer, in-office, minimally invasive laser treatment (EVLT) for varicose veins.

Feb. 2010 Induction into the American Venous Forum
Dr. Goodman attended the invitation-only, internationally recognized meeting of the world leading vein specialists. This is a society of 400 physicians, dedicated to the treatment of vein disorders such as varicose veins, spider veins, acute or chronic deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and lymphatic disease.
The mission of the American Venous Forum is to promote optimal venous health through innovative research, education and technology.
Jan. 2010 Induction into the Society of Vascular Surgery
The Society of Vascular Surgery was founded in 1947 following World War II and is the oldest vascular society in the country. The Society of Vascular Surgery, with 3,000 members, promotes excellence and innovation in vascular health through education, advocacy, research and public awareness.
The society is recognized in the vascular community as a mark of high professional achievement.
Jan. 2010 Induction into the New England Society of Vascular Surgery
The New England Society of Vascular Surgery is the first regional vascular society in the country.
It was created in 1973 to help reach larger numbers of surgeons to advance their knowledge and skill in vascular medicine.
